Hello everyone!! I’m so happy that you decided to read my blog today. You’re probably saying “It’s about time she writes something.” This week has been so busy. My church set up a booth at the annual Apple Festival so of course I was there to lend a helping hand and I must say it all went very well! Today as I was looking at my bills and my to do lists, I figured I would write some tips on how I manage to stay organized when it comes to these tasks.

1. My first tip that helps me to stay organized is to keep a planner. I go through the months and I write down what bill is due on what certain day. This also helps me to remember any upcoming events ect.

2. My second tip that helps me to stay organized is I keep what I call a financial folder. In this folder I keep my bank statements, financial goals, etc. I recently started using the folder just a few months ago and I must say it has been a huge help.

3. My last tip that helps me to stay organized is just taking a deep breath and not stressing over anything. Enjoy life, yes bills are important and they have to be paid, but don’t focus just on them. Spend time with the people you love and tell the stress it’s time to go.

Hello everyone, happy October!! I am so excited that it is finally one of my most favorite months. Not only do I LOVE the fuzzy socks, pumpkin spice everything, and the beautiful colors, the fashion is AMAZING. Below I am going to list some of my favorite fashion trends of Fall.

Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time out of your day to read my blog. I am currently getting ready for work while this blog is being published, I woke up today ready to tackle the day! There’s nothing Jesus and Coffee can’t handle of course. While I was looking for the words to write on here my mind automatically went straight to the word purpose. My personal definition of the word Purpose is (The reason for something’s existence.) As I thought about what that word meant to me I automatically was like “Wow, what were we created for?” Why was our existence so important to the creator of the whole world? God is calling you, equipping you, and preparing you for this moment in your life to live out the overall purpose of why he created you to begin with. God created us so that we would have a love for him and give him the praises he deserves. Before you were even formed he had a purpose for you. You need to know today, NOTHING can stand in the way of Gods purpose for you.

Not only were you created for a time such as this with so much purpose but there are purposes for the seasons you go through. I truly believe the lord grows us more and more each season we face in our lives. Whether your season is on top of the mountain or you are down in the valley there’s a purpose for the season you’re in. No matter the season, God is God. I choose to praise him either way. He has blessed my family so much and he deserves so much praise. My initial purpose for being on this earth is to give him my life and praise and worship every day of my life. He loved us even in the darkest of times. He is our Heavenly Father that created us with so much detail in mind. I urge you today, step into the calling he has on your life. It’s crucial to live out your purpose. He has equipped you and given you everything you need, now it’s up to you. He has big plans for your life. Hey everyone today I wanted to talk to y’all about a book that will be coming out very soon!! As you know from previous blog posts my father/pastor has wrote a book and it’s called “Get Your Pen Back”, he sent me some of it to look over and read and all I can say is WOW. This book is so capable of changing so many lives. “Get Your Pen Back” is a faith-based book that has been constructed by 20 years of ministry that has consisted of blood, sweat, and tears. This book explains that you write your own story. Many people have not taken ownership of their own pen. Pastor Horns point of view on the subject is that you should have full ownership of your pen. You’re the author of your story as author James Horn says. In this book Pastor James will teach us how to get our pen back in the right hands. This book will show you step by step how to get your pen back so you’re able to write your story. I am so thrilled to see the release of this book. Ingredients

CRUST

• 8 whole graham crackers, broken into 1-inch pieces
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 1 tablespoon sugar

FILLING

• 1 pound (two 8-ounce bars) cream cheese, room temperature
• 3/4 cups sugar
• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
• Pinch of salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs, room temperature
• 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons solid-pack pumpkin puree
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Here are the steps you can take in starting your Prayer journal..

1. Choose your journal. (It  can be anything even a regular notebook, I like to get the journals with the cute designs on the front. )
2. Decide how to section off your journal. (Prayers, Study, Answered Prayers, Notes)
3. Start using your notebook

One of the reasons I have decided to start using a Prayer journal is I love taking notes during church. That’s how I remember the message. I also like to write down my favorite bible versus. A bible journal is a great way to not only get you in to reading your bible but it also helps you to put all of your thoughts and prayers on paper. If you decide to give the prayer journal a chance you will be very happy with it. If you are like me its hard to get into a habit of writing in it every day but if we really try we can make that a habit. I also had the idea of when we get our prayer journals filled all the way up we could exchange them. Someone may be the one that needs to read the things you have wrote. The thing you overcame could be the very thing they’re going through right now. Since we are going to be doing the prayer journals I am going to give you a chance of winning a free prayer journal that I will personally map out and section for you. Hey guys! Thanks for checking out the blog today and thanks for all of your support. I just wanted to write this blog today in hopes of being a part of changing someone’s life. I just wanted to tell you today you are loved. I mean you are really loved. The one who formed you before you were even born, he loves you. He knew who you would be, what you would go through.. He knows your future. He has the greatest plan for your life. Sometimes it feels like he isn’t there or he doesn’t hear your prayers but I promise he does. In the last little bit my husband and I had some battles that we had to face and don’t get me wrong it was hard. I wondered why this was happening. He see’s us during every part of our life and he is listening. His timing is perfect and his ways are perfect. Our heavenly father he cares. He understands the pain we feel and the heartache we face. He knows everything about us. When I woke up this morning I was excited, as soon as I woke up I could already feel the holy spirit with me. I am so thankful that he saved me. He wants to save you too. He thought you were worth dying for. You were created for a purpose. Live it. My prayer today is I can try my best to love people the way he loves me. When I think about his love it overwhelms me. When I think about the grace he has for me I get overwhelmed. Just know today you really are loved and you have someone that cares for you so much. You have a purpose and the heartache you may be feeling right now he is going to turn it into a testimony. I am praying for you. Just remember he knows. Esther 4:14b (NIV) “And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this.”

This morning I woke up and had my morning coffee but then I had some Jesus time as well. Jesus time and coffee time is some of the best times. If we give him the opportunity he can open our eyes to some things we really don’t notice. This morning I got to thinking about my favorite bible story, the book of Esther. I am sure you have all read this incredible book, but if you haven’t go read it!

God created each and every one of us. He tells us in the bible that he knit us together while we were inside our mother’s wombs.  He knows every little detail about us. He knows how many hairs we have on our heads. He knows what we like and what we don’t like.  He made each of us unique and there is no one created exactly like us in the whole world.

The world loves to try to warp our minds and make us think  if we don’t meet certain criteria we don’t measure up. Ladies, we have been called for a time such as this. Our worth and value is found only in him. I am sure that Esther was scared and people wanted to kill what God had planned out. If God done it ladies, nothing will even be able to penetrate it. God knows what he is doing. He is always working behind the scenes in our lives, even when we do not realize what he is doing, he is up to something. Just keep in mind today that you are called for this, and he will equip you for the job he has ahead of you. Your worth is found in him. He knows you, more than anyone does. He loves us and he is working in our lives. Even in the times we feel like he isn’t there. God approved of you before anyone even had a chance to disapprove. Walk in it today ladies, be blessed. Know your worth and don’t let anyone tell you any different. YOU ARE LOVED AND ROYAL IN HIS EYES.

 

• Go on walks.
• Light a candle and get your favorite throw and snuggle on the couch.
• Take Sunday naps after church. (My personal fav)
• Take a bubble bath.
• Get your nails done.
• Bake something.
• Do something you have always wanted to do.
• Take care of your skin and drink more water.
• Keep a journal.
• Use a planner for your bills. (This helps me to keep all things caught up)
• Jam to some of your favorite contemporary christian music in the car.
• Pray everyday.
• Have a thankful heart.
• Host a bible study at your house once a week.
• Read some chapters in your bible.
• RELAX AND TAKE A DEEP BREATH. YOU ARE LOVED, WORTHY, AND STRESS FREE!!

These are a few of the things I love to do when I feel like I am getting overwhelmed. Sometimes when the bills, work stress, and all of the other things that try to trip you up come along. These are so helpful. No matter how busy you are, remember to always take the time for yourself and your family. Keeping your mind refreshed and feeling relaxed makes life’s struggles not so bad.
